Teacher Bio

Known for large-scale experiences of yoga and meditation, from the Great Lawn in Central Park, NYC to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, Elena Brower teaches yoga and meditation as a way to approach the world with gratitude and realistic reverence. 

Although she graduated Cornell University with a design degree in 1992, Elena began studying with master teachers in 1997, and has been teaching since 1999. Her classes are a masterful, candid blend of artful alignment and attention cues for your body, mind and heart.

Elena is the co-author of the book, The Art of Attention and the creator of two audio meditation courses, 4-week Art of Attention and 7-day Cultivating Spiritual Intelligence, which are beloved around the world for creating consistent, accessible practice. She is also the founder of Teach.Yoga and teaches classes in New York City and retreats and trainings worldwide, although her true service is in shifting awareness within the smallest interactions; one family, one household at a time.
